The configuration on the left depicts a scenario wherein the 9X Media VC-3200 or HD6400 is required to process large amounts of video or data that is greater then the VC-3200 or HD6400 could process internally. By using the 9X Media VGA input cards the external servers 1-8 (expandable to 64) can process the data or video without the video or data ever passing through the VC3200 or HD 640 motherboard bus. As the VGA signals come into the VC3200 or HD6400 the video or data is processed by the VGA input card and then passed along to the 9X Media video output card via a SCSI like cable. This way the VC3200 or HD6400 never has to process the incoming video and is not overloaded which happen quite quickly to a computer having to process video. On the ouput side, the 9X Media VC3200 or HD6400 scales the outgoing video so that any one of the VGA inputs can be sized and position anywhere on the video wall. This means that content being processed from Server 1 can be sized so that it is either shrunk to be one of many video streams coming into the system on screen 1 as shown in the diagram or as large as you need similar to the conent being displayed on screens 4, 5, and 6 also as shown in the diagram. In fact, the content from any of the servers could be sized to span the entire video wall. In addition to the video wall we have illustrated how additional outputs can be used to drive a projector or other video display device. In this application, the operator chooses to take any one of the content streams coming in from the 8 servers and moving it to outputs #8 which in this case is a projector. What is not shown in the diagram is that 9X Media wall control software can be used to manipulate content remotely via the network or internet from anywhere in the world. |

Both the 9X Media VC3200 and the HD6400 can be used as a power video wall switch that can control up to 128 channels of motion video. The example at left shows 4 x DVDs, 2 x Cable TV sources, 2 x Satelite TV sources, and 4 cameras are processed by the VC 3200 or HD 6400 video wall switch. Each family of video wall controllers are fully expandable to 128 video inputs in increments of 9, 16, and 32 channels per card. This gives you the ability to get what you need now with the option of expanding later as your requirements increase. | |||
